When the owners of Chiara Vision looked for a place to set up their optometry practice, they carefully chose to place their office in the middle of a very busy retail area of Houston. They wished to be able to provide eye-care services and sell fashion eyewear, and to have a space that would effortlessly combine the two major functions of their business.

Our idea for Chiara Vision was to create a space that flowed gracefully from one area to the next allowing the visitors to move smoothly from the eyeglasses display area to the exam rooms without interruption. MC2 Architects wished to create a smoothly transitioning space, where the visitors could get an eye examination and choose their fashion eyewear easily.
